What is ENRUC?
The Eastern Nile Research Universities and Centers (ENRUC) is a network that began in 2018 gathering individuals and institutions that conduct research on various aspects related to the physical, social, and institutional aspects of managing Eastern Nile, including parts of Egypt, Sudan, and Ethiopia. The ENRUC consists of researchers from universities and government agencies in each of these Nile Countries, as well as researchers from universities from outside the Nile region including TH Köln, the University of Khartoum, and the University of Oxford.

Main activities
Through previous events, the ENRUC network was able to forge relationships between researchers and students from major universities, governmental researchers and water managers from ministries, and a variety of stakeholders throughout the Nile countries.
