Since April 2024, ENRUC team has been hosting engaging online webinars on a monthly or bi-monthly basis, each lasting two hours. These sessions tackle current and compelling topics related to the Eastern Nile Basin. Each webinar features generally two distinguished speakers who delve into the subject matter, providing valuable insights that foster fruitful discussions. Moreover, these webinars offer a unique opportunity to stay abreast of the latest developments within the ENRUC Network. As we explore topics of critical importance to our basin, we simultaneously weave the narrative of our consortium’s growth and achievements.

This webinar featured two presentations addressing critical issues in Sudan. Prof. Mohammed Basheer discussed the current armed conflict in Sudan and its impacts on the economy and water resources.
